The Chapelwood Foundation shares God’s grace with college students through scholarships, mentoring, and support during their college years. We are blessed to be a part of their educational journey.
In 2024, The Foundation awarded $265,000 in scholarship support to 78 students attending 25 colleges and universities across the country. This is the highest level ever and we had our largest incoming class with 32 new students. The Foundation helps identify potential recipients, many of whom are the first in their family to attend college, through mentoring programs including SpringSpirit and SBISD’s Collegiate Challenge, local high school counselors, the UMC Central South District of the Texas Annual Conference, and Chapelwood worship communities and members. We honor our students and their achievements at a bi-annual fundraising luncheon.
